Mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas jumpers - 14th December 2018

On Friday 14 December 2018 Emmott Snell Solicitors hosted a mince pie and mulled wine morning by way of a thank you to our friends, neighbours and suppliers for all their support this year. As 14 December was Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day we took the opportunity to support this great cause and invited all our guests to wear their silliest (sorry, most festive) jumpers in support of Save the Children.

Christmas Jumper Day is an annual charity event, with 100% of proceeds going to the charity. It sees countless adults and children across the country go to work or school dressed in a festive Christmas jumper to help raise funds for children.

The initiative was thought up by charity Save the Children, who say: “Whether you join in at work, at home, at school or down the pub, it’s all about getting everyone together in your daftest woollies. And by donating £2 each, you’ll be giving children the chance to build a better future.”

During the morning we treated our guests to a festive glass of warm ginger punch and mince pies.

Emmott Snell Solicitors are pleased to support Save the Children in this annual event and raised in excess of £70.

We at Emmott Snell would like to thank all of those who attended and kindly donated to Save the Children. We recognise the value of Save the Children's work in supporting disadvantaged children. It is a way of helping children not only in the UK but around the world to make their lives a better place.

Save the Children need all the help they can get to continue their good work so why not donate today?

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all of our supporters, colleagues, friends, family and readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
